I’m Rosemary, and I see the world a little differently.

I paint my perception, and I ask you what you see.

I live with synesthesia, so my perception of the world has patterns and colours and connotations. My childhood years living in Japan gave me a curiosity for the new and the unknown, an intense reverence for the natural world, and an appreciation of symbolism in the everyday.

I’m fascinated with portraying emotion through the silhouettes of people. My travels inspire me. My eyes are my viewfinder as I observe the people and world around me, transforming the 3D world into the 2D of my canvas.
